Renowned Birmingham-based filmmaker Ranjeet S. Marwa is gearing up to take audiences on a thrilling ride with his latest project, “Ballistic.” Known for his gritty and violent cinematic style, Marwa has captivated audiences with his previous work, including the acclaimed “Exiled: The Chosen Ones.”
Produced by Charmaine Binji, Nisaro Karim, and Barry Nash, “Ballistic” promises to deliver a gripping narrative that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The film stars David Lamont in his debut lead role in a feature film. Lamont, who has previously collaborated with Marwa in supporting roles, will portray Beck, a homeless man whose life takes a dark turn when he learns that his sister’s killer has been released from prison earlier than expected. This revelation sends Beck on a downward spiral of revenge and redemption.
Joining Lamont in the cast are Nisaro Karim, James Bryhan, and newcomer Poppy Mabel, each bringing their unique talents to the screen.
Set to commence production in early July in Birmingham, “Ballistic” will kick off its journey with an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign starting on May 20th. This campaign aims to secure the remaining budget needed to bring Marwa’s vision to life and ensure that “Ballistic” reaches its full potential.
