A university student's life spirals out of control when she takes responsibility for her family's debt. With the weight of the word on her shoulders she will sacrifice everything to clear the debt, but what will the cost be.

This short film is a fine example of what you can achieve with wonderful cast, location and some stylish choreography from Adam Pray. The lead really tells that story and its running time of 12 minutes feels longer, in this case that's a compliment.

To tell a story in 12 minutes with a beginning, middle and end is no mean feet, but to then make you care and take the journey with the character (played by the delightful Erica Tan) and feel her pain, frustration, anger and freedom is testament to Writer, Director and Producer Robin Dudfield who shot this in just 2 days.

The Debt is a beautifully shot, and wonderfully crafted short film that will have you living the characters every moment. The setting Cambodia is rich with the hussle and bustle of every day life and really brings to life this short feature.

Coupled with a haunting and magical final score I for one would be keen to see more features from Robin and more of the lavish and exotic Cambodia wouldn't go a miss either. So go watch the film its on you tube NOW. in fact its below in the link, watch, share and send some love.
