After skirting death, debt collectors French (Scott Adkins, Avengement, Doctor Strange,) and Sue (Louis Mandylor, *Rambo: Last Blood, My Big Fa tGreek Wedding) get back to doing what they do best - cracking skulls and breaking bones - as they chase down the various lowlifes who owe money to their boss, Tommy (Vladimir Kulich, The Equalizer, Vikings).
They're summoned to Las Vegas to collect from a dirty casino owner, who happens to be a vicious ex-lover of Sue's (Marina Sirtis). Meanwhile, a notorious drug kingpin is on the warpath to kill French and Sue to avenge his brother’s death. Facing danger from all angles, the pair has no other choice but to fight their way out of an explosively dangerous situation.
The sequel to The Debt Collector and reviewed here Scott and Louis once again deliver both punches and punchlines to this 5 star sequel. Jesse V.Johnson takes all that was great from the first film and ramps the dial up to 100. The interplay between the characters French and Sue was divine in the first feature and in the sequel Jesse just lets them play back and forth delivering both punches and punchlines which gives that throwback feel to those great action buddy movies.
I've not even mentioned the action, and there's plenty to enjoy straight from the first bar brawl where Scott unleashes a flurry of kicks and punches with masterful ease that you have to admire his craft and poetry in motion. Louis also gets some action up against the Casino Owners right hand woman (Mayling Ng) and him and Scott both go tow to toe in an amusing alley fight that sees them both come off the worst for wear.
Jesse does it again bringing entertainment that will punch you in the face and make you smile, I for one want to see more adventures of French and Sue, in fact no I demand more adventures. Dare I say its a buddy movie not seen since The Lethal Weapon days, and you cant get any higher praise than that.

I enjoyed this film immensely, it made a good follow up to the first film “The debt collector “
Both lead actors work with great chemistry together and this certainly shows in both films, the characters are interesting and the film is full of great fight scenes which had me watching between my fingers , as the punches , and blood are epically realistic, I’m invested enough to hope for a 3rd film, actually this would have made a great series ,probably done quite well in that format on Netflix, likeable characters, awesome fights, what’s not to like ?
