Kung Fu Ghost – Review

Kung Fu Ghost is A Beautiful Homage to a bygone era of cinema, a playful, fun and thoroughly entertaining first feature film from Jennifer Linch.

When a young girl Daisy, gets left a mansion in an inheritance from her grandfather Daisy thinks she's finally hit the jackpot, but little does she know this house comes with more than meets the eye and not only is it haunted by its former residents, it has treasure that others want to take and they will stop at nothing to get it.

Daisy is played by Jennifer Linch who takes a one way plane ticket to America to get the keys to the mansion but the catch is she must stay there for 7 days before she gets to keep it. On first impressions it looks like its haunted and soon she will see her fears come true, but before that she defiantly knows that it does need a good clean.

Daisy gets the shock of her life when the ghost of her grandfather played by David S Dawson and his student William played by Noah Sargent show up telling her, as most spirits do, that there is unfinished business and she's part of this now. This leads to Daisy, having been living such a different life, suddenly thrown into danger and she must start to take a look at how she's living and ultimately what the future will now become.

The film for me was like a friend you've not seen in a long time, or a slice of your favourite pizza, its comforting. Its a film that has equal measure of laughs with some nice touches of humour between Daisy and her grandfather, think a less aggressive kickboxer training session, those splits were great. Talking of that, don't be deceived into thinking Jennifer Linch is just looking great on screen she also packs a mean punch having a background in Martial Arts she knows how to fight and there are some really well shot fight sequences that will keep you entertained throughout and that's down to great action choreography and dedication to you art.

Kung Fu Ghost is A Beautiful Homage to a bygone era of cinema, a playful, fun and thoroughly entertaining first feature film from Jennifer Linch.

So for me Kung Fu Ghost is what Indie film is all about, Jennifer Linch Co-wrote, Directed and produced this her first feature film, and the team have put together a delightful feature film that will entertain you, and that's what films should do.

I will update here with website and trailer coming soon........................
