Escape Plan: The Extractors Review

This is where the film shines Stallone doing his gruff, rough and ready for revenge face

After security expert Ray Breslin (Stallone) is hired to rescue the kidnapped daughter of a Hong Kong tech mogul from a formidable Latvian prison, Breslin’s girlfriend (Jaime King, Sin City) is also captured. Now he and his team, including Trent DeRosa (Dave Bautista, Guardians of the Galaxy) and (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Power) must pull off a deadly rescue mission to confront their sadistic foe and save the hostages before time runs out.

Jamie King, Max Zhang, Curtis Jackson

That's the pitch but lets skip to the good stuff, that's Max Zhang, they haven't wasted him in the picture either, with a nice introduction in an office fight to a one on one with the ever so reliable Daniel Bernhardt . This is where the film shines Stallone doing his gruff, rough and ready for revenge face and Dave Bautista, well you know shooting people with that dry smile, Shoot more people Dave, Hell that was fun !

Stallone & Bautista

So Its an action yarn with some credible action scenes, the first Escape Plan is still my favourite with Jim Caviezel just chewing up the screen with his villainy, but this is a nice addition to a surprising franchise of films. A little more polish and they could really have something in the meantime sit back enjoy the action and lets hope Expenadbles 4 is just around the corner.
